In the summer of 2014 & 2015 we teamed up with Brooklyn’s own HoodChef to launch a five part BBQ party series in East Harlem & Downtown Brooklyn. Along with a unique BBQ and drink menu, we curated cultural performances for each event, including capoeira performances, live bands, and Muay Thai demonstrations. Each event drew a crowd of 300+ guests. Sponsors include Ty Ku Sake, 20 Grand Vodka, Exclusiv Vodka and Harlem Brewing Co.

MITS is the underground version of the widely known “Movies in the Park” franchise. We teamed up with the series’ creator ‘By Any Means’ over the course of 5 weeks in the summer of 2015 to screen films that featured one of the five major NYC boroughs. Do The Right Thing, Paid in Full, A Bronx Tale, Goodfellas, and Belly rounded out our summer line up. Edibles were available on site, and guests enjoyed complimentary food and beer, courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon. With good vibes, food, and a city rooftop setting it’s not hard to imagine why over 100 tickets sold out every week.

There’s a lot more good times to be had other than tried and true partying. That’s why during summer 2015, we hosted our first annual kickball tournament on Randall’s Island. In collaboration with ‘The Kids League’, we hosted both a kids tournament and an adult tournament including 10 different teams. Free food, drinks, and music was provided to all participants, and winning teams received goodie bags courtesy of Sprayground, Rocawear and Exclusiv Vodka.

In summer 2015, the ladies of NYCHI. decided to spread their passion for cycling by organizing the first annual #BROADSONWHEELS, an all-female group rideout aimed to spread a message of freedom and movement through the art of cycling. After a sunset ride through Westside Highway, we surprised participants with a complimentary picnic and chill session in Battery Park.
